YOUNG SCHOLARS CREATE
EDD COX PHOTOGRAPHY
FEBRUARY 4 - MARCH 30
2010
CAFE PALOMA
Cafe Paloma will host a benefit exhibition of my photographs
in an exhibit documenting artist-students ages 5 to 10,
creating ceramic art masterpieces in the after school arts
program that I instruct.
While these young scholars create, I take a few minutes of
each class to document the students progress and then portraits
when they have their new finished artwork proudly inhand.
All proceeds from the exhibition will be donated to the
Central Asia Institute a non-profit organization that promote
and support community based education, especially for girls,
in remote regions of Pakistan and Afghanistan.

To date the Central Asia Institute has created 131 schools in Pakistan and Afghanistan, all in rural remote regions that had little or no educational opportunities for the children.
