PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2004 - 2007 MERCER ISLAND & BELLEVUE PUBLIC SCHOOLS After school extention program coordinated by Art's Cool. Art instructor at numerous schools instructing elementary students in ceramic handbuiding and glazing techniques. Established a collaboration with students (Young Scholars) in promoting problem solving, higher level of personal achievement, expanding imaginative potential, fostering an environment of creative experimentation for expanded growth in self esteem and group dynamics.
6/2002 - 8/2003 BELLEVUE ART MUSEUM - Created multi-media video studio at Bellevue Art Museum. Lead artist and instructor acquiring sponsorship and three iMacs to begin first Digital Arts Program in stop frame animation video Claymation. Upgraded studio with four G4 Macs adding classes in Video Feature Filmaking providing middle school students with a curriculum of scripting and storyboard drawing, set construction and painting, camera operation and cinemaphotography, audio recording and editing, video editing, video special effects and music visualization. Also instructed high school students and adults, conducting studio classes in Oil and Acrylic Painting.
10/1997 - 3/2002 ONADIME MUSIC VISUALIZATION - Began working with Onadime, a digital music software company as an artist developer creating digital music compositions. Creative work in this new digital format displayed at Museum of Modern Art, New York, MTV, 25th Annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Awards, California Music Awards, MacWorld New York and San Francisco and performances in Seattle. Researched and developed skills in Audio and video recording and editing.
06/1994 - 01/1997 TERRABONGO CERAMIC ARTS - Established retail storefront studio to develop business knowledge and refine ceramic techniques. Work focus is large scale sculptural fountains and tile murals. Developed concept and techniques of Indoor Goldfish Gardening
1984 - 1994 SEWARD PARK ART STUDIO - A founding member from 1986 to 1996. Executive Board Member 1989 &1995. Faculty from 1991 to 1995. Teaching hand building methods; Native cultural techniques, Ceramic drum making and Surface decoration, Artist-in-Residence. 1993 and 1994. Seattle, Washington.
1985 & 1986 ANAGAMA KOREAN KILN FIRING PARTICIPANT - Inaugural Celebration firing of traditional Japanese wood firing. Coordinated by Nils Lou, Tom Coleman and Frank Boyden. Willamina, Oregon.

1983 BAINBRIDGE ISLAND PARKS DEPARTMENT - Drawing Instructor Bainbridge Island Washington.
1980 - 1981 BOOIL ARTS - Worked with Boosik Chin as apprentice picture framer gaining skill in all areas of professional archival art framing and managing exhibition gallery.
03 - 11/1979 MAZAMA STABLES - Worked with developers of equestrian stables redesigning ranch and farm structures for upgraded use. Developed blueprints for reconstruction of structures and carpenter in actual construction. Built stone fireplaces. Produced promotional graphics. Gained riding skills and caring for horses.
06 - 12/1977 ARCTIC FREIGHTER - Deckhand and winch operator on MVS All Alaskan. Kodiak and Akatan, Alaska.
1972 - 1973 STUDIO ASSISTANT - Ceramic studio assistant and tech person at Tacoma Community College. Maintained ceramic kilns, studio firings, materials and studio environment. Instructor in wheel throwing.
1971-1972 GALLERY - Established Fresh Air Gallery. A studio and exhibition space that enabled experience in business operation, working with designers and consultants and general public.
1969-1971 MILITARY DRAFTEE - Served in Army as Artist-Illustrator. Stationed in Baltimore, Maryland and Saigon, Vietnam. Produced graphics and illustrations. Also worked in darkroom producing personal photographic prints.
1964 - 1966 GORDAN & CROSS ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING - Worked in office of professional engineering office as draftsman after classes at high school, weekends and summer. Gained articulate experience working with professional engineers and architects. Worked on large scale projects producing working drawings and specification sheets.
